The painting is painted lying on the floor. The basis of the composition is an old painting, an image that is sacrificed. Over that underpainting I spread white paint with broad brushes, which give stripes to structure, like ribs in the vault of a cathedral. I then let ink and paint flow. Due to the capillary action, the substances creep into each other. The image slowly solidifies. Gravity and a fan complete the picture. What can be seen has an inner structure and is still free.
